We had an amazing time at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh 20th Anniversary Celebration! We shared about the past, present, and future of this special nature space with over 200 attendees!

Our Director of Environmental Education, Carolyn Everhart, explained a plinko game designed to explain the potential outcomes of nesting season for Tree Swallows at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh. The Explore Ballona!® Environmental Education team shared about their programs happening at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh!

Docent and Executive Board Emiritus Bob Shanman inspires new birders by sharing how to use binoculars and a spotting scope!
