Birds by Bike: Friends of Ballona Wetlands Community Ride

  • Vista del Mar and Culver Metro Bike Share Station 200 Culver Boulevard Playa del Rey, CA, 90293 United States (map)

Join Metro Bike Share and the Friends of Ballona Wetlands for a beginner-friendly, 4-mile group ride around the Ballona Lagoon and Wetlands on the Marvin Braude Bike Path.

Beginning at the Vista del Mar & Culver Metro Bike Share Station, we will roll on the Ballona Creek bike path, stopping to admire the sights and spot the birds (Herons, Egrets, and many other species call this space home), and return on the same path.

This ride is "no-drop," meaning we will maintain a comfortable and inclusive pace for all participants.
